Freight Broker / Account Manager

Build profitable shipper relationships and manage each customer from first conversation through successful delivery and follow-up.

What you’ll do

  • Prospect manufacturers, growers, distributors and refrigerated or truckload shippers.
  • Develop relationships through calls, email, referrals, lane research and consistent follow-up.
  • Qualify opportunities and identify lanes that fit JASKO capacity.
  • Prepare spot quotes, contract rates, bid responses and customer proposals.
  • Maintain customer, rate, load and contact information in Prophesy TMS and approved sales tools.
  • Coordinate tenders with dispatch, including appointments, temperature, commodity and equipment requirements.
  • Monitor service, communicate exceptions and remain accountable through delivery.
  • Review revenue, margin, accessorials, terms and account performance.
  • Work with accounting on credit approval, billing documents and disputed charges.

Load Planner / Dispatcher

Plan safe, efficient freight movements and support drivers, customers and equipment from assignment through delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Review drivers, equipment, hours of service, location and home time.
  • Match freight to capacity while reducing empty miles and protecting service and profitability.
  • Build and update assignments, appointments and instructions in Prophesy TMS.
  • Confirm commodity, temperature, seal, weight, routing and appointment requirements.
  • Communicate assignments clearly and confirm driver understanding.
  • Monitor loads using Prophesy TMS, Motive and approved communication tools.
  • Provide proactive pickup, transit and delivery updates.

What you’ll do

  • Audit rate confirmations, bills of lading, PODs, lumper receipts and accessorial approvals.
  • Create invoices from Prophesy TMS and verify rates, fuel surcharge and detention.
  • Post and monitor receivables, cash receipts, short pays, deductions and aging.
  • Process payables for vendors, repairs, permits, tolls, insurance and operating expenses.
